Georgia Golf & Travel Spends Day at Augusta Visitor Center during Masters Week

The Georgia Golf Trail starts their year off always in Augusta during Masters week setting up a information table along with a putting course and give-aways.

Each year GGT speaks to hundreds of visitors from as far away as Canada to as close as Augusta.

Their goal is to continue to promote Georgia as a premier place to come and visit, as well as look at a possible place to live.

Harbor Club

Georgia Department of Economic Development Tourism hosts GGT each year and helps promote what their programs are. This year, some of the Trails partners were on hand promoting their properties and companies.

The Georgia Department of Natural Resources, State Golf Parks, Harbor Club in Greensboro Georgia and Drake Reality were present during the day to showcase their properties.

Doug Hollandsworth, Founder of Georgia Golf & Travel stated, " We are always pleased to open our year here in Augusta the week of The Masters.

Everyone in the golf industry knows about Augusta and The Masters and we want to showcase what we are doing as hundreds of thousands come through our golf capitol here in Georgia."

Holandsworth continued to say, " We are very proud of our state and want everyone that stops in the Visitor Centers to know more about our great golf, but not only that, what all Georgia has to offer to visitors."
