Golf at Sapelo Hammock:

Golfers at Sapelo Hammock Golf Club will forget they’re just ten miles from Highway 95 when they’re immersed in the beauty of the course nestled up to the Sapelo River. The scorecard doesn’t reveal the challenges offered by doglegs and even elevation changes on this low country, coastal Georgia course.
 
Our four par-three holes each offer an exceptional opportunity for golfers to hone their skills.
 
Number 6 has most often been featured when members make a hole in one, though it doesn’t offer an easy opportunity.Number 8 invites an accurate drive across the marsh to a green surrounded by trees, and  Number 15 is sided by an inviting lagoon.
 
Number 17 is the course’s signature hole. The 189-yard hole features a natural island hammock surrounded by marsh that will test even the most seasoned golfer.
 
You’ll end your round on the par-5 18, where a well-placed tee shot will either set up a bold approach to the green in two or a lay-up to attack with a short iron. The green is narrow and deep with a ridge separating the front and back portions. Finishing with a par is a success!
