On Tuesday April 8th, Georgia Golf & Travel was at the Augusta Georgia Visitor Center promoting The Georgia Golf Trail to all the visitors that came through the center.

Masters Week - 1

Doug Hollandsworth, Founder of Georgia Golf & Travel said "we wanted to kick off our new year here in Augusta this week, home to The Masters golf tournament and promote The Georgia Golf Trail to the travelers from all over the nation. We were excited to actually talk to people from Canada, Maine, South Carolina, Mississippi and fellow Georgians about what Masters Week - 2we are building here with our programs. I would think we talked to over one hundred people, who stopped by our table and played putt putt with our Bridgestone Golf Balls who are one of our sponsors, we gave away Backnine Network hats, golf tees and water bottles from Georgia State Parks and Bridgestone Golf Balls. We want to thank our sponsors for helping with this a great day. We are planning on doing more of these promotions at other visitor centers across Georgia later this year."

Doug continued on to say, "we would like to thank Keri Ogletree, the manager of the Augusta VIC for all her help in making it a great day for all." This is a great way to tell people in person about what we are striving to do here in Georgia and hear what they have to say about golf and Georgia in general."
