Doug Hollandsworth, Founder of Georgia Golf & Travel, home to The Georgia Golf Trail, was interviewed on Masters’ Sunday by the number one golf radio show in the nation. Doug was asked about The Masters and how Georgia is spotlighted during Masters’ week every year.
The interview continued with Doug telling the listening audience about Georgia Golf & Travel showcasing Georgia as a premier golf destination 52 weeks out of the year!

During the interview, Doug talked about the PGA TOUR being one of The Trail’s sponsors. Georgia is home to the PGA TOUR for 5 consecutive weeks starting with The Masters. The Champions Tour, visits Atlanta, this week and then goes to one of the Georgia Golf Trail Founding Members, The Club at Savannah Harbor/Westin. The next two weeks, the Web.com Tour goes to Valdosta at Kinderlou Forest, another Founding Member of The Georgia Golf Trail and then back to Athens the first week in May.

“If the PGA TOUR has chosen Georgia to host seven of their golf tournaments here in Georgia, rounding out with the TOUR Championship, presented by Coca-Cola in September and the McGaudrey Classic in Oct, home to another Georgia Golf Trail Founding Member, Sea Island, then Georgia must have some great golf courses and we want to tell the world,” said Doug.
